Welcome

Every year, innocent Canadians go abroad to get married, only to be duped by the sponsored person after coming to Canada. The person that they sponsored only married for the purpose of obtaining permanent residency status in Canada, and there was no intentionof living with their Canadian spouse. There is a disturbing and growing trend of fraudulent marriage stories happening year after year. I hope that this website will provide information to victims of marriage fraud, create an awareness of the problem, and also raise issues to find strong solutions to prevent this from happening to other Canadians in the future.

I am certainly not a lawyer, but I hope that this web site will be of some guide for you. I was also a victim of immigration marriage fraud, and I know the difficulties and pain from this awful experience. I worked long and hard to fighy my battle with Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Canadian Border Services Agency. In the end, I was able to accomplished my goals and deported the sponsored person. Despite being successful in my individual case, my biggest goal is still to be actively involved and help make changes to the Immigration laws and protect Canadians. I encourage you to join groups like Canadians Against Immigration Fraud to help support their cause in helping to raise awareness, participate in protests, attempt to enforce and change the existing immigration laws.
